Birth of the Sentient Child

Birth is a beginning and an ending of an infant's multidimensional journey to life. So we might ask, when does life begin and the pre-life journey end? Some say it begins at conception and some say at birth. However we see it, conception and birth are actually the "ending" of the soul's journey. At least a temporary one, as the soul transitions to physical life. 

What is
Reality?

Is our reality the result of the gradual unfolding of the physical universe following the big bang which millions or billions of years later randomly coalesced into the physical universe, our planetary system, and life in all its fullness?

The Conscious Self

Where does our identity reside? Is it in the body, the unique biological self? We say this is my body. But is it our identity? We have an ego that describes the personality to an extent. It is the part of us that engages with the material world. We have a brain and nervous system where it is said the mind resides. And from here our intellect and feeling selves are expressed. 

Children's Past Life Memories

Children remember far more than we might ever imagine. Not just their recent postnatal past, but life in utero, past lives, life between lives, and the decision to reincarnate. Even at the very young age of two or three children can share memories with parents but their odd or precocious comments are often rationalized away as coincidence or confusion on the part of the child.
